The play, set in a school, begins when Corina, the mother of a recently deceased pupil, comes to meet her son's teacher. The conversation that follows deals with the relationship between a grieving mother and a teacher emotionally torn by Corina's son's suicide on the day he was kicked out of school. It is a play that deals with many key issues related to the education system, the responsibility of teachers, the role of parents, their rights and duties in an increasingly chaotic world.
