The project of author Igor Koruga, "Desire to Create a Solid History Will End Up in Failure," brought the work of pioneers and newcomers of the domestic dance scene closer to the audience of the Bitef festival. Together with Nela Antonović, Anđelija Todorović, Jelena Jović, Tatjana Pajović, Boris Čakširan, and Sanja Krsmanović Tasić, the author in this production produced by the Station Service for Contemporary Dance examines the position of contemporary dance in Serbia.
Although performed worldwide, Tanja Šljivar's play "All Adventurous Women Do" has only been available to the local audience since last year, directed by Selma Spahić. The play at Atelje 212 is part of this year's main program of the festival, and the audience rewarded the story about a Balkan community that doesn't want or doesn't know how to deal with teenage girls who become pregnant on a school trip with applause.
After both performances, there were joint meetings with the authors, and you can see the entire overview of the events from October 6th in our gallery.
