Tickets at a promotional price will be available for purchase at the After Work matinee organized by Bitef and Kišobran on August 30th in Sprat (15, Cetinjska Street) starting at 7 p.m.
Director Anja Suša, the former Bitef curator, is returning to the festival this October with the play #Jeanne, based on the well-known text by the famous Croatian writer Ivana Sajko.
The award-winning opera performance “Sun and Sea“, by Rugilė Barzdžiukaitė, Vaiva Grainytė, and Lina Lapelytė, will be performed on October 7th and 8th in the main programme of this year's Bitef.
The plays “Divine Comedy“, “Desire To Make a Solid History Will End Up in Failure“ and “All Adventurous Women Do“ will be performed in the main programme of this year's Bitef, which is held from 3-10th October.
This year's Bitef, which takes place between the 3rd and 10th October in Belgrade, gathers some of the most interesting young theater voices that are rapidly conquering European scenes.
The acclaimed play “Children of the Sun“ by Maxim Gorky, directed by the Slovenian director Mateja Koležnik and produced by the German theater Schauspielhaus Bochum, will open this year's Bitef on October 4th at the Yugoslav Drama Theater.
